The Pressure Equipment Directive
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) sets new regulatory requirements for the design, manufacture, inspection and certification of pressure equipment placed on the market within the European Economic Area (EEC). This law becomes mandatory with effect from May 2002 and will mean all our equipment will be certified by an independent, qualified third party such as Lloyds Register.
Thermocouple Instruments already
provides equipment to the standards governed by the EEC, however you can be
assured that our quality department will ensure these laws are certifiably
met with respect to all our temperature, pressure and flow equipment by the
deadline set by the government.
